Mystery & Friendship - The Missing Notebook

Mystery & Friendship The Missing Notebook

Sophia was known as the brightest student in her school, especially in science. With only a few days left until the national science competition, she had spent months perfecting her formulas and notes. Her notebook, filled with complex equations and breakthrough ideas, was her most prized possession.

One morning, as she reached into her backpack, her heart sank—her notebook was gone. Panic surged through her. “No, no, this can’t be happening!” she gasped.

Her best friends—Ethan, Lily, Ryan, and Ava—rushed to her side. “It has to be somewhere,” Lily reassured her.

“But I checked everywhere!” Sophia groaned. “If I don’t find it, I won’t be able to compete.”

Determined to help, the group retraced Sophia’s steps. They searched the classroom, library, and even the cafeteria, but the notebook was nowhere to be found.

Then, Ryan had an idea. “What if someone took it on purpose? Maybe a competitor?”

The friends exchanged worried glances. “Let’s think,” Ava said. “Did anyone act suspiciously yesterday?”

Sophia remembered something. “Jason… he kept asking me about my formulas, and when I wouldn’t tell him, he seemed frustrated.”

“That’s it! Let’s check his locker,” Ethan suggested.

They waited until the hallways were clear before slipping a note into Jason’s locker: We know you have it. Return it before it’s too late.

The next morning, Sophia found her notebook on her desk with an anonymous note: You deserve to win.

Relief flooded through her. “We did it!”

On the day of the competition, Sophia gave her best performance, fueled by the support of her loyal friends. As she held up the trophy, she realized that knowledge was powerful—but true friendship was even stronger.

MORAL: In times of trouble, true friends will always stand by your side.
