The Day the Crayons Went on a Safari
❌
In a bright little classroom full of laughter and color, a box of crayons sat on the art table. There was Red, bold and brave; Blue, calm and clever; and Green, cheerful and full of ideas.
One morning, when the children went out for recess, the crayons decided to go on an adventure of their own.
“Let’s go on a safari!” said Red, jumping out of the box.
“A safari?” Blue blinked. “But we’re crayons, not explorers!”
“That’s what makes it fun!” laughed Green.
So, they rolled across the desk, down to the floor, and out the open window into the garden — their very own wild jungle.
The tall grass became their savanna, the flower pots turned into mountains, and the butterflies fluttering around became colorful birds flying in the sky.
As they marched through the garden, they met Yellow Crayon, who was lying near the sunflowers.
“Come with us!” said Red. “We’re on a safari!”
Yellow joined the team, and together they imagined wild animals everywhere — a blue elephant, a green lion, and even a red zebra!
When they reached a puddle, Blue smiled. “Look, it’s the watering hole!”
But suddenly, a gust of wind blew their map away!
“Oh no!” cried Green. “We’ll get lost!”
Red thought for a moment and said, “We’ll make our own map!”
So each crayon drew a path with their color — Red drew the roads, Blue made the rivers, Green drew trees, and Yellow filled the sky with sunlight. When they looked at their creation, it was the most beautiful map ever made.
“See?” said Blue proudly. “When we work together, we can find our way anywhere.”
As the sun began to set, the crayons followed their colorful path back to the classroom. The children returned and gasped, “Wow! Who made this amazing picture?”
The crayons smiled quietly from their box, tired but happy.
That night, under the classroom moonlight, Red whispered, “Best safari ever.”
And Blue added, “Adventure is more fun when it’s shared.”
